Description
Haka is a Sangheili (Elite) serving as a fiercely loyal military assistant to the Covenant's High Prophet. He towers above even his own kind, his imposing stature contributing to a battlefield presence designed to intimidate. He consistently wears solid black armor, a stark visual statement reinforcing his role and setting him apart. His weapon of choice is a conventional metal blade, distinct from the energy-based weapons favored by other Covenant Elites.

Haka burns with resentment toward Fal 'Chavamee, the current Arbiter, whom he views solely as an obstacle. His driving ambition is to seize the title of Arbiter for himself, a position of supreme honor within Covenant Sangheili society. This fixation compels him to actively seek a direct confrontation with Fal, convinced that defeating his rival in combat will secure his coveted status.

To undermine Fal, Haka aligns himself utterly with the Covenant religion, the Great Journey. This absolute devotion stands in sharp contrast to Fal's skepticism, creating a deep ideological rift. Haka's loyalty to the High Prophet is absolute, making him a key instrument in the Prophet's plot to eliminate Fal. He participates in a scheme resulting in the death of Fal's wife, Han, an act intended to provoke Fal into recklessness.

Haka's path culminates in a direct, climactic duel against Fal. He enters this confrontation determined to defeat his rival and claim the Arbiter's mantle. This final clash embodies themes of ambition, betrayal, and the cost of blind loyalty within the Covenant hierarchy. Haka remains defined as the antagonist whose ruthless pursuit of power directly challenges the protagonist's honor and convictions.
