Description
Modeled after the V2 Gundam and embodying the historical figure Zhao Yun, this warrior originates from Mirisha's northern provinces. An expert spear wielder, his signature special attack is "Swift Whirlwind." He demonstrates unwavering loyalty, refusing to abandon comrades and exhibiting indomitable perseverance.
Initially serving General Enshou (Yuan Shao), he witnessed Enshou's greed for the Gyokuji (Imperial Seal) and the unjust labeling of others as traitors, prompting his defection to serve Kousonsan (Gongsun Zan). Under Kousonsan, he commanded the White Stallion platoon as Captain of the Yuushu Border Police Force.
When Enshou's army threatened Yuushu, an injured Zhao Yun was entrusted with an art of war scroll by Kousonsan and dispatched to find Ryuubi (Liu Bei) returning from Keishuu. Though Zhao Yun successfully located Ryuubi, they arrived too late to prevent Yuushu village's destruction and Kousonsan's demise.
Zhao Yun then formally joined Ryuubi's faction. Following the pivotal Battle of Red Cliff, he journeyed with others to Ekishuu to help establish the country of Shou. He rides a horse named Hieisen.
His model kit features a distinctive large golden dragon that attaches to his spear, symbolizing his finishing move. This dragon can be disassembled and reconfigured onto his body, causing him to resemble the V2 Buster Gundam. When equipped with the Ryukihou armor, his appearance transforms to resemble the V2 Assault Gundam.
