Description
Liu Bei (Ryū Bi) Gundam, heir to the bloodline of Ryuutei, former ruler of Mirisha, was born in Rousou Village in northern Yuushuu. His character embodies a steadfast commitment to justice, rejecting evil and demonstrating fearlessness against oppression, naturally drawing like-minded warriors to his cause. He honors a respectful mentorship with Gongsun Zan (Kousonsan Ez-8).
His journey commenced by forming a sworn brotherhood with Guan Yu (Kan-u Gundam) and Zhang Fei (Chouhi Gundam), united to protect Mirisha from bandits and tyrants. At Korou Fortress, he first encountered Cao Cao (Sousou Gundam DX), resulting in a clash of ideals. A pivotal moment occurred when Lu Bu (Ryofu Tallgeese) sacrificed himself, shielding Liu Bei from Dong Zhuo's (Toutaku Zaku) assault. Witnessing Lu Bu's fall triggered Liu Bei's fury, driving him to wield the Tengyokugai "Souryuu" and defeat Dong Zhuo. Victorious, he declined Cao Cao's offer to join forces, choosing instead to continue traveling Mirisha with his sworn brothers, departing with a promise to reunite with Cao Cao, Sun Quan (Sonken Gundam), and Sun Shangxiang (Sonshoukou Gerbera).
In later conflicts, he returned to Yuushuu to defend it against Yuan Shao's (Enshou Bawoo) invasion, then traveled to Keishuu alongside Zhang Fei seeking the strategist Kong Ming (Koumei Re-GZ). News of Cao Cao's Southward Campaign reignited his dedication to "justice for the people," solidifying his resolve to oppose him. Cornered by Cao Cao's overwhelming might during the Battle of the Red Cliffs, Liu Bei called upon the soul of Ryuutei within his sword. This act triggered his transformation into the Shouretsutei (Sky Soaring War God), turning the tide of battle. After victory, he aided in preventing the self-destruction of the Shinkahihou. Subsequently, only his sword, the Ryuuteiken, remained, and his whereabouts became unknown. He later reemerged as darkness enveloped the Three Kingdoms, demonstrating significantly improved mastery over his powers by rescuing Guan Yu from peril.
His combat abilities include signature techniques like the Dragon Emperor Wave, Dragon Emperor Slash, and Dragon Star Slash.
