Description
Sun Quan (Son Ken) Gundam, youthful prince of Gou, leads with humble compassion, showing no discrimination among his forces. He initially embraces pacifism, questioning if justice justifies the cost of life and refusing combat. This philosophy shatters when he witnesses the battlefield deaths of his father, Sonken Zephyranthes, and retainer Somo. Consumed by rage, he unleashes the Tengyokugai "Douko" – a formidable mobile armor resembling the Dendrobium Orchis summoned from Korou Fortress – using it to destroy the fortress itself.
Aftermath brings consuming regret and guilt, amplified as Toutaku burns the nearby capital Rakuyou. Though intending to return to Chousa, Ryuubi (Liu Bei) and Sousou (Cao Cao) convince him to stay and help defeat Toutaku. In some versions, he strikes the final blow against Toutaku with the Tengyokugai. Following victory, he joins others in bidding farewell to Ryuubi, Chouhi, and Kan-u.
During the "Clash of the Heroes" arc, he reunites with Ryuubi and commands the Koutou Navy against the Keishuu Troops. Tragedy resurfaces at Gappi, where he loses his brother, Sonsaku Physalis Gundam, after their father's death. After the Battle of Red Cliff, he establishes the kingdom of Gou. Standing before his father and brother's graves, he vows to protect his people.
His primary weapon evolves: he first wields the Tiger Saber (Gaouken). After defeating Toutaku, his brother gifts him the Majestic Fang Sword, which later awakens into the Super Majestic Fang Sword. This sword combines with his head and waist armor to form the Souko Blade and can fold in half.
In the "Battle of the War God" chapter, frozen by darkness with allies, he is freed by the Blade of Heaven's power. Awakening as Goutaitei, he defeats his brother – possessed by the dark entity Shuu – and departs for Gojyogen. As the representative of Byakko (the White Tiger), one of the Four Gods, he embodies the Gou kingdom's yellow motif.
