Description
Marina Akitsuki is a main character in the Oni Chichi series, particularly featured in Oni Chichi Re-born. She is the elder stepdaughter of Kouzou and the eldest child of Kayoko. Of mixed heritage, she is half-French and half-Japanese, and she is a third-year student at Seifu Academy. Physically, she has long brown hair and blue eyes.

Her personality is gentle, kind, shy, and reserved. She is studious and serious in nature, and she takes on a nurturing role at home, handling most of the household chores to help her busy mother. Unlike her younger sister Airi, Marina initially accepts and trusts her stepfather, Kouzou. She has been in a relationship with a boyfriend named Masato for about a year, but she remains inexperienced and has not yet become sexually intimate with him.

In the story of Oni Chichi Re-born, Marina is motivated by a desire for a romantic and close family bond. She looks forward to a family trip as an opportunity to spend romantic moments with Kouzou. However, she later makes last-minute plans to leave Airi and Kouzou alone at the hot springs resort, inadvertently setting the stage for further abuse. Over the course of the series, Marina is manipulated and coerced into a sexual relationship with her stepfather through drugs and deceit. Her trusting and accommodating nature makes her vulnerable to his schemes. Her role in the narrative is that of a secondary victim who gradually becomes entangled in the same abusive cycle as her sister.

Key relationships include her younger sister Airi, with whom she shares a complex bond that shifts from sibling support to competition for their stepfather's attention; her stepfather Kouzou, who exploits her trust; and her boyfriend Masato, who eventually betrays her by engaging with Airi's friend Sana. Marina's development sees her transition from an innocent, responsible girl to someone who is drawn into a dysfunctional and coercive dynamic, though she never fully loses her core personality traits of gentleness and domestic diligence. She does not possess any supernatural or notable abilities; her strengths lie in her academic diligence and homemaking skills.
