Description
Kirihiko Kirishima, alias "Guillotine," is a fourteen-year-old female assassin from the Kirishima clan, one of the thirteen Inner Families descended from assassin lineages. As the direct heir to her clan’s leadership, she inherits the male name "Kirihiko" per tradition. Her striking appearance features blonde hair tied in a pigtail with a black ribbon, a left-sided fringe, and drowsy eyes. She wears a large scarf, blue shorts, knee-high boots, and a jacket with white sleeves and blue sections adorned by red stripes.

Her personality bifurcates sharply: introverted and reserved by default, she transforms into a verbose, aggressive combatant when wielding blades, adopting the masculine pronoun "ore." This duality fuels her combat style, where supernatural strength and precision allow her to cleave pavement and metal with mundane tools like butter knives. Her unorthodox swordsmanship earned the scorn of traditionalists, who revile her as "Guillotine," a heretic to their art.

Initially indifferent to Shinkurō Kurenai, her outlook shifts upon witnessing his skill. Romantic feelings emerge, culminating in a stolen kiss and a duel proposal: victory would make Shinkurō her subordinate, defeat his sweetheart. Despite her lethal vocation, interactions with Shinkurō and Murasaki Kuhōin teach her friendship’s value, even prompting tears when recognized as a companion.

Affiliated with the Akuu Company as a hitman, she later aids Shinkurō during a raid on the organization. A near-fatal building collapse traps her under rubble, sparking introspection on survival and bonds. Post-rescue, she briefly withdraws from Shinkurō and Murasaki but continues forging connections within their circle.

Notable quirks include vulnerabilities to extreme temperatures, pollen allergies, and a heat-sensitive tongue—flaws she blames on the Earth’s hostility. She asserts English fluency but speaks it clumsily and dominates fighting video games, once securing 50 consecutive arcade victories. Her OVA appearances expand on eccentric traits, including bikini-clad scenes incongruent with aquatic contexts.
