TV Special
Description
Asuka Kagurazaka is a female ninja serving the ancient Fuma Clan, tasked with protecting their secret treasure, Fujin. To monitor events surrounding the stolen Buddha avatar statuette, she infiltrates Interpol under the guise of a television reporter covering Lupin and Inspector Zenigata. Her constant companion is Kotaro, a specially trained ninja dog who retrieves items and attacks targets at her command.
She masterfully orchestrates the Buddha statue's theft by hiring Lupin, aware it conceals the hexagonal crystal key vital to locating Fujin. During the ensuing pursuit, Asuka displays exceptional aerial acrobatics, formidable skill with traditional ninja weapons, and strategic cunning. This allows her to confront Lupin directly, evade Morgana's forces, and temporarily reclaim the crystal. She even employs a ninja technique to fake Zenigata's death, shielding him from escalating danger.
A deep personal connection emerges through her sister, Maya, who serves Morgana under duress. Despite their opposing sides, Asuka persistently urges Maya to abandon Morgana and fiercely prioritizes her sister's safety, particularly during Morgana's torture sessions aimed at activating Fujin. This loyalty drives Asuka to endure torture, refusing to scream despite electrocution to prevent triggering Fujin's destructive power.
Following Morgana's defeat and Fujin's neutralization, she immediately refocuses on her duty, resuming the pursuit to arrest Lupin. She possesses brown hair and black eyes, and appears exclusively within this specific narrative context.
