Description
Chypre is a fairy from the Tree of Hearts who partners with Hanasaki Tsubomi. She aids Tsubomi in transforming into Cure Blossom to battle the Desert Apostles and typically ends her speech with "-desu."

Appearing as a petite white fairy, Chypre possesses distinct heart-shaped ears marked with cyan hearts. These match cyan accents highlighting her bangs, tail, and eyes. She sports a fuchsia bow decorated with a pink gem star and a frilly fuchsia neckpiece fastened by a silver heart.

Honest and outspoken, Chypre speaks her mind directly. She constantly frets over others' well-being, especially Tsubomi's. She forms a deep bond with Tsubomi, initially expressing disappointment in her early stumbles but later offering steadfast trust and sisterly guidance.

Chypre shares a cooperative partnership with the fellow fairy Coffret, jointly sharing opinions and duties. Together, they mentor the younger fairy Potpourri, correcting her errors when needed. She holds profound respect for the senior fairies Coupe and Cologne, addressing them as "Coupe-sama" and "Senpai" respectively. She experiences intense grief following Cologne's sacrifice.

Chypre fled the Tree of Hearts with Coffret during an attack by Dark Pretty Cure, obeying Cure Moonlight's command to find a replacement Pretty Cure. They arrived in Kibougahana City and encountered Tsubomi, Cure Flower's granddaughter. Witnessing Tsubomi's resolve to protect her friend Erika, Chypre entrusted her with a Heart Perfume, enabling her transformation into Cure Blossom.

Thereafter, Chypre lived with Tsubomi, disguised as a toy to avoid human notice. She provided crucial emotional support during Tsubomi's moments of self-doubt. In the final battle against Dune, Chypre accompanied Tsubomi to the Castle Planet to rescue Tsubomi's grandmother and reignite the Tree of Hearts. She participated in distracting Professor Sabaku and witnessed Dune's defeat.

Her abilities center on extracting Heart Seeds from purified Desertrians, revitalizing the Tree of Hearts. She can also transform into a durable flight cape, granting Cure Blossom aerial mobility and defense against energy attacks.

Chypre is noted as the first female mascot partnered with a lead Cure in the franchise. She ranked third in a Toei Animation poll for "The Fairy you wish to have as a partner most." Her name references a perfume type inspired by ingredients from Cyprus, derived from the French word for the island. Flashbacks reveal she and Coffret were previously cared for by Tsukikage Yuri before her temporary loss of Cure status.
