Description
Professor Tsurusaki is the homeroom and Japanese language teacher for Hanasaki Tsubomi and Kurumi Erika's class at Myoudou Academy. She possesses dark violet hair, usually styled in a bun with one loose strand framing her face, and slanted dark blue eyes. Her professional attire consistently features a gold suit dress worn over an emerald top, paired with grey tights and black heels. Her personality marries strictness with deep kindness and care for her students, often revealing a slightly tomboyish edge. A significant vulnerability is her intense fear of yokai and monsters, a fear she finds difficult to admit openly. She also harbors quiet anxieties about her personality deterring potential romantic partners. Her surname, Tsurusaki (鶴崎), combines "tsuru" (crane) and "saki" (promontory).

She first appears during Tsubomi's introduction to the class, subtly amused by Tsubomi's timidity while encouraging her to persevere despite Erika's initial teasing. Later, she mistakenly disciplines Tsubomi for classroom chatter, unaware Erika instigated it. A pivotal moment occurs when she witnesses the creation of a Desertrian from Myoudouin Itsuki's Heart Flower; she freezes in terror alongside a colleague during the attack. This petrification prevents her from seeing the Pretty Cure intervene, though she is freed after the Desertrian's purification. Her fear of ghosts resurfaces when rumors of a masked figure prompt her to investigate alone. Attempting to project bravery while battling inner terror, this exposed vulnerability allows Cobraja to exploit her emotions, transforming her into a Desertrian. Cure Blossom and Cure Marine subsequently purify her. During the Desert Devils' large-scale assault on the city, she survives as one of the civilians protected by the Cures' efforts to bolster collective resilience.

Her Heart Flower is the rhododendron, symbolizing dignity. Her fear of ghosts is explicitly confirmed. She holds the distinction of being the only homeroom teacher in the Pretty Cure franchise with a confirmed age during the series. Like many homeroom teachers in the franchise, her given name remains undisclosed.
