Paradise King began as an ordinary Japanese man seeking a tranquil life, leading him to abandon Japan. He arrived at an uninhabited jungle island near the Philippines or Caroline Islands. Immediately upon arrival, aggressive white-handed gibbons attacked him. After a fierce battle, he emerged victorious, claiming dominion over the monkeys and establishing himself as their ruler. The conflict left him with lasting scars across his body and face. He resides within a repurposed derelict cargo ship serving as his fortress. Dissatisfied with simian labor limitations, he orchestrates monkey raids to abduct and enslave human adults. His appearance features a distinctive purple afro hairstyle, earning him the nickname "Explosion Head" from Shinnosuke. He typically wears a green shirt with an exaggeratedly long collar, goggles concealed beneath his hair, and is often depicted holding a cigarette. In combat, he exhibits near-superhuman abilities honed by jungle survival. His fighting style incorporates unpredictable, reckless maneuvers and acrobatic tactics mimicking simian movement, including using bamboo or trees for advantage. This unconventional approach initially overpowered Action Kamen. However, after the captive monkeys are freed and his control weakens, he pursues vengeance. He engages in an aerial chase via helicopter, humming "Ride of the Valkyries" while hurling dynamite. During this confrontation, dynamite is inserted into his afro, causing confusion and enabling a decisive counterattack that renders him unconscious. He is rescued from his exploding helicopter but lands in a ship's pool, irreparably damaging his afro. Surrounded by passengers, he surrenders and is subsequently arrested. The character reappears in a later installment.
