Chistei Malou serves as the narrative's primary antagonist. Masquerading under the alias Karakaka in 16th century Japan, he poses as a sinister feudal lord wielding seemingly supernatural powers. His true nature is that of a time traveler dispatched from the 30th century (Siglo XXX) with a singular mission: to alter history.
His goal targets the Sengoku period, specifically Japan in 1570, where he seeks dominion by deploying advanced technology disguised as magic. He commands robotic agents, including Princess Ogin and Nekonoshin, to enforce his rule. These actions generate significant temporal disturbances, attracting the attention of the Time Patrol and igniting the central conflict.
Chistei Malou employs psychological manipulation and military force, utilizing futuristic weaponry like torpedoes and robots against adversaries. From his castle stronghold, he directs subordinates to capture or eliminate threats such as the Nohara family and Fubukimaru.
His downfall unfolds during a climactic battle atop his castle. The destruction of Princess Ogin weakens Fubukimaru, allowing Shinnosuke to confront Chistei Malou directly. As Shinnosuke's costume powers expire, he falls from the ceiling, landing directly on Chistei Malou's head. The impact causes incapacitating pain, leading to Chistei Malou's fatal plunge from the castle heights.
