Toa is a young girl targeted by malevolent adventurers attempting to rob Makoto's storehouses. Rescued by Makoto due to her resemblance to someone from his past, this intervention leads to a confrontation with the adventurer Mills Ace. The attackers cause an explosion involving Makoto's mana-absorbing rings, resulting in casualties including Toa and a friendly orc. Her death contributes to Makoto's subsequent lethal retaliation against the woman responsible for the explosion.
