Description
Tabitha, born Charlotte Helene Orléans de Gallia, is the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Orléans and the rightful heir to the throne of Gallia. In her childhood, her uncle Joseph de Gallia sent a poisoner to assassinate her. Her mother intercepted the poisoned wine and drank it, resulting in severe mental instability. Thereafter, her mother treated a doll named Tabitha as her daughter and viewed Charlotte as a stranger, leading Charlotte to adopt the name Tabitha as her own.

She is petite, standing 142 centimeters tall, with light blue hair and eyes. She typically wears glasses and a school uniform consisting of a white long-sleeved blouse, a short black skirt, a long black cloak fastened with a gold brooch, and white knee-high socks. She is rarely seen without a large curved staff, which she uses to cast spells.

Reserved and emotionally distant, Tabitha speaks very little and rarely displays emotion. She has a strong preference for reading, even in dangerous situations, and enjoys hashibami grass salad. She is skilled at gambling with dice but holds a pronounced dislike of ghosts.

A powerful mage, she specializes in wind and ice magic. Originally a Triangle-class mage, she later advanced to Square class. Her familiar is a wind rhyme dragon named Sylphid, who is deeply loyal and can assume a human form under the name Illococoo, referring to Tabitha as "Onee-sama."

Her past is marked by political intrigue. After her father’s death and her mother’s decline, her uncle, now king, assigned her perilous missions intended to kill her. She succeeded in slaying a three-headed dragon, earning the rank of Chevalier, though Joseph refused further promotion. Blackmailed into serving Joseph’s associate Sheffield, she betrayed her friends and nearly died confronting Saito. After a failed mission, her knighthood was revoked. She was later kidnapped on Joseph’s orders by an elf named Bidalsha and taken to Gallia as a prisoner, where a Potion of Lost Heart was prepared for her. She was rescued by Saito and her friends, an event that deepened her attachment to him.

Following Joseph’s defeat, Tabitha obtained a potion that restored her mother’s sanity and was declared the rightful heir. However, it was revealed she had a twin sister, Josette, who had been sent away at birth due to a royal tradition requiring one twin to be killed. Manipulated by Julio and the Pope, Josette replaced Tabitha as queen. After being captured and rescued again by her friends, Tabitha relinquished her claim to the throne to her sister and went to live with Saito at the De Ornielle estate alongside Louise and Siesta.

Over time, Tabitha gradually re-emerged emotionally, forming a close friendship with Kirche von Zerbst and expressing a protective loyalty toward Saito, whom she acknowledges as her savior. She remains a dedicated and powerful mage.
