Description
Montmorency Margarita la Fère de Montmorency is a student at Tristain Academy of Magic, hailing from the noble Montmorency family renowned for specializing in water magic. Her family holds a historic contract with the Spirit of Water, a connection Montmorency likely forged herself during a visit to Lake Lagdorian with her father.

She possesses long, curly blonde hair typically tied with a large red ribbon, blue or grey eyes, and stands 166 cm tall. Her academy uniform features distinctive alterations, such as wearing stocking-like socks instead of standard white socks. As a noble, she exhibits significant pride in her family name and reacts negatively to nicknames like "Montmo". While generally mature and respectful towards classmates, intense jealousy and visible fury flare when confronting her boyfriend Guiche de Gramont's infidelities.

Magically aligned with water, she operates at the Line level. Her familiar is an orange frog named Robin, summoned during the academy's ritual. She uses Robin to communicate with the Spirit of Water by pricking her finger and placing a drop of her blood on the frog's head as authentication.

Her relationship with Guiche is tumultuous due to his repeated unfaithfulness. Early on, she publicly humiliated him alongside another girl, Katie, after his two-timing was exposed. In one significant event, she crafted an illegal love potion to secure Guiche's affection. When Louise Vallière accidentally consumed it instead, Montmorency sought a Spirit's Tear from the Spirit of Water as an antidote ingredient. Accompanied by Saito, Louise, and Guiche, she traveled to Lake Lagdorian. Saito negotiated with the Spirit, learning Cromwell had stolen the Spirit's Ring of Andvari, causing destructive flooding. Saito vowed to retrieve the ring, and the Spirit provided the tear.

Exposure to Siesta's love potion later caused her to become indiscriminately infatuated, kissing several girls until Tiffania erased these memories. Despite ongoing trust issues stemming from Guiche's behavior, she remains in the relationship, though her loyalty wavered once during an infatuation with Julio. Over time, she is shown spending increased time with Kirche von Zerbst.

Notable quotes include calling Guiche a "liar" during his public exposure and stating "Guys are idiots," reflecting her frustrations.
