Mutou Mitsuki, a Japanese high school student, was forcibly summoned to another world alongside Akari Tokitō by King Grisarika of the Noblesse. Upon arrival, the summoners judged him as possessing no special abilities and branded him an individual of "incapacity." They immediately expelled him from the royal castle without resources or guidance, leaving him stranded and desperate. Although initially perceived as powerless, Mitsuki's true ability emerged as the Pure Concept of "Nullify," enabling him to nullify or destroy any object or substance upon which he focused. This power surfaced when he encountered Menou, a priestess who presented herself as a helper for displaced individuals. Menou invited him to a church, claiming she would assist him in understanding and integrating his abilities. During his brief appearance, Mitsuki exhibited confusion and vulnerability. Cast out by the summoners, he expressed hopelessness and uncertainty. His interactions with Menou showed initial trust in her offer of aid, unaware she served as an executioner. Mitsuki demonstrated no overt malice or ambition, yet the inherent danger of his uncontrolled nullification ability posed a catastrophic risk to the world. His story concluded abruptly when Menou assassinated him inside the church, fulfilling her duty to eliminate Lost Ones before their powers destabilized. His death served as an early demonstration of Menou’s mission and the moral complexities of preemptively killing potentially dangerous but innocent individuals. Menou buried him, and his character did not reappear or develop further. Mitsuki’s role was primarily foundational, establishing the series’ central conflict and ethical dilemmas. His abrupt elimination also subverted typical isekai protagonist expectations, shifting focus to Menou and Akari’s dynamic. No expanded backstory, character development, or alternate appearances in spin-offs, movies, or other media are documented for him.
