Description
Terry the Kid, born Terry Kenyon in Amarillo, Texas, is the Japanese-American son of wrestler Terryman and reporter Natsuko Shōno. He harbored deep resentment towards the Kinniku family, convinced Suguru Kinniku stole glory from his father and that Suguru's son, Mantaro Kinniku, was a spoiled prince coasting on legacy. Training rigorously at the Hercules Factory under Robin Mask, Terry aimed to surpass Mantaro and prove Terry family superiority, openly mocking and sabotaging him during their sessions.

His perspective shifted dramatically when Suguru intervened in Mantaro's match against Anaconda. Suguru revealed Terryman refused individual trophies, prioritizing friendship over accolades, and showed the handkerchief symbolizing their bond. This revelation led Terry to reconcile with Mantaro, forging a lasting friendship.

Physically resembling his father, Terry has blond hair styled into a spiked fringe, blue eyes, fair skin, and a "K" symbol on his forehead. He typically wears white trousers, a blue sleeveless shirt exposing his midsection, and matching blue protective pads. His wrestling style blends Terryman's technical holds with added power moves. Signature techniques include the Spinning Toe Hold, Ankle Lock, and his own creation, the Texas Clover Hold. He conceived this submission move during a harsh childhood death-match duel against Volcano, discovering a four-leaf clover under an uprooted tree stump – a discovery that named the hold and marked his first major victory. Other notable moves are the High Voltage Bomb (a kneeling belly-to-belly piledriver), Kid Spark (half nelson bulldog), and Trace Kick. While practical, his technical approach can limit him against unconventional opponents.

Terry's relationship with his father evolved from strained to respectful. Flashbacks show Terryman as a strict mentor, enforcing harsh training like the Volcano duel. Terry initially rejected comparisons, declaring he wanted no resemblance to his father. However, understanding Terryman's humility and selflessness led him to embrace their legacy while forging his own path. His friendships expanded to include Jade (son of Brocken Jr.) and others in the Justice Choujin community.

Post-graduation, Terry ranked #3 in the Hercules Factory's New Generations, earning "Best Technique" honors and assignment to defend Osaka. He later aided Mantaro against the d.M.p faction. Despite growth, setbacks occurred: complacency after defeating Rex King led to tournament losses, including a first-round elimination against Scarface. His heroic nature emerged when he forfeited the Chojin Olympics to rescue a drowning child, echoing Terryman's past sacrifice for an animal. Terry occasionally operates independently but consistently supports allies in critical battles.
