Description
Alexandria Meat, commonly referred to as Meat-kun, is a young boy from Planet Kinniku who belongs to the Churrasco Tribe. He was entrusted by his father Mince to the Kinniku clan and later dispatched to Earth with the mission of retrieving the long‑lost prince, Suguru Kinniku. His official role is that of a sidekick, trainer, and personal assistant to the prince, whom he addresses as Ōji or Ōji-sama. Meat‑kun possesses an exceptionally high level of intelligence, making him one of the most intellectually gifted Chojin in the series. He wears glasses, without which he becomes virtually helpless, and has the hiragana characters for “niku” written on his forehead; pressing his temple causes that mark to emit a bright light. Despite his small stature and lack of raw physical power, he is a capable strategist and occasionally steps into the ring himself, most notably defeating the Mixer Emperor with a backdrop during the Scramble for the Throne arc.

Meat‑kun’s personality is defined by a sharp, often scolding demeanor toward Kinnikuman, whose cowardice, laziness, and foolishness frequently exasperate him. The two clash early in the story, sometimes even competing for the affection of Mari Nikaidou. Yet beneath these quarrels lies a deep, brother‑like loyalty. Meat‑kun is fiercely devoted to Kinnikuman’s growth and wellbeing, always offering advice and encouragement during matches and standing by his side in moments of crisis. His primary motivation is to see Kinnikuman become a worthy king and protector of justice, a goal that drives him to endure great personal hardship.

His role in the narrative is that of a constant support figure. He acts as Kinnikuman’s eyes and ears, helps with daily tasks, and provides crucial tactical information. When the Seven Devil Chojin attack, Buffaloman dismembers Meat‑kun into seven pieces, holding him hostage; the Justice Chojin must defeat each devil to reassemble him within a time limit. After Kinnikuman ascends the throne, Meat‑kun chooses to cryogenically freeze himself so that he can later serve the next generation. He is awakened to train Kinnikuman’s son, Mantaro Kinniku, and continues in the same advisory capacity for him, addressing Mantaro as Nisei.

Key relationships include his master‑student bond with Kinnikuman, which evolves from frequent bickering to unwavering mutual trust; his later connection with Mantaro, whom he guides with the same mix of criticism and care; and his two older sisters, Medium Rare and Kalbi Liver. He also develops a close, if sometimes rivalrous, relationship with Mari Nikaidou. Over the course of the story, Meat‑kun’s character develops from a somewhat irritable caretaker into a selfless figure willing to sacrifice his own present for the sake of future justice. His notable abilities are primarily intellectual: an encyclopedic knowledge of Chojin wrestling, the ability to coordinate strategies in high‑pressure situations, and a handful of wrestling techniques such as the backdrop, Meat’s Kids Torpedo, Closed Gate Crush, and Tenryu Chop. His glasses remain a persistent vulnerability, and his lack of raw combat strength means he rarely serves as a frontline fighter, but his quick thinking and loyalty make him an indispensable member of the Justice Chojin.
