Despite this, Kyao demonstrates unwavering loyalty to Daba throughout the conflict with the Poseidal Empire. Kyao matures significantly during the rebellion, particularly through mecha development and combat. He orchestrates the theft of the prototype Heavy Metal Amon Duule Stack and kidnaps its creator, Mesh Maker. Recognizing Mesh's rebel sympathies, Kyao collaborates with him to study the L-Gaim's technology, resulting in the creation of the advanced L-Gaim Mk-II. This unit features transformation capabilities, a self-learning bio-computer, and a powerful generator enabling sustained Buster Launcher use.
