Description
Cao Fu Shen is the elderly true master of Cao Family Bajiquan, a rival tradition to the Mao Family Juhe Fist of Mao Hun and Mao Lan. His frail health and advanced age severely limit his physical participation in conflicts, positioning him instead as a philosophical influence and instigator. He harbors profound disappointment and disapproval towards his son, Cao Da-Hen, for commercializing their family art into the profit-driven Prime Mat televised fighting competition, viewing this as a corruption of its heritage.

This rift drives Cao Fu Shen to seek help from his rival, Mao Hun. He specifically requests that Mao Lan confront and defeat his granddaughter, Cao Chunyang, in Prime Mat, initially framing this as a directive to "kill" her. Later developments clarify this as metaphorical. His true objective is the defeat and discrediting of the commercialized Cao Family Bajiquan practiced by Chunyang under Da-Hen's influence. He believes her loss would lead to the decline of this distorted version, potentially allowing the traditional essence to be preserved or reclaimed, even if it means the art's effective end within the commercial arena. His motivation centers on protecting the legacy and authenticity of Cao Family Bajiquan from degradation for financial gain, making him a guardian of tradition willing to leverage rivalries to dismantle its corrupted manifestation.
