OVA
Description
Ms. Sanada is the head maid of the Valhalla Royal Family, directing unwavering and fanatical loyalty toward Princess Valkyrie. This devotion sparks extreme excitement when Valkyrie—especially in her child form—exhibits behavior Sanada finds endearing, frequently triggering loud outbursts of joy.

She wields significant technical skill, constructing specialized weaponry like the "Cat Ear Gun" or "Cat-Girl Ray Gun." This device transforms human girls into brainwashed cat-eared maids loyal to her command, forming her "Catgirl Maid Squadron." Sanada deployed it after misinterpreting Kazuto Tokino’s friendly gesture toward Akina Nanamura as infidelity threatening Valkyrie’s relationship, sparking a destructive confrontation involving Akina and Princess Hydra. Though the misunderstanding was resolved and Sanada apologized, she retained the transformed girls as permanent staff at the Tokino bathhouse.

Her arrival on Earth followed tracking Valkyrie after the princess’s spaceship crash. Discovering Valkyrie in her child state overwhelmed Sanada with delight at the perceived cuteness. She immediately settled at the Tokino residence to serve Valkyrie and began actively planning Valkyrie’s wedding to Kazuto, consistently referring to him as "Princess’ fiancé."

Sanada demonstrates combat proficiency and weaponry knowledge, showcased during her fight with Akina and Hydra. In Season 3, she adopted a superhero alter ego, the "Cat Eared Maiden," to assist Valkyrie and Kazuto, even crafting a figurine of this persona for Valkyrie.

Her relationship with Princess Laine remains antagonistic, originating on Valhalla where Laine repeatedly tried diverting Valkyrie’s attention from Sanada. This friction persisted after Laine arrived on Earth. Conversely, her dynamic with Princess Mehm shifted from a formal "princess and head maid" relationship to a closer friendship during Season 2.

Sanada participated in the "bride training boot camp" SPECIAL OVA episode, orchestrated by Valhalla’s Queen over concerns about Valkyrie’s marriage readiness. The training randomized marital scenarios, though Sanada’s specific role in these trials is not detailed. She also produced a video commemorating Valkyrie’s life on Earth, featuring dramatized re-enactments, a self-composed opening song, narration, and biased editing that vilified Hydra while glorifying Valkyrie.

Her actions occasionally led to major consequences, including two imprisonments in Season 5 for secretly spying on Valkyrie at Princess Laine and Chorus’s residence. Despite frequent extreme and disruptive behavior, moments of calm and genuine care for the Tokino family and other Valhalla princesses—excluding Laine—also define her character.
