Description
Tetsunoshin, a golden Toy Poodle born in Kyushu, relocates with the Inuyama family to Tokyo’s Hoppongi Hills at seven months old. Witnessing Rumi Inuyama’s household plagued by reckless spending and mounting debt, he embarks on a quest to secure their stability. His journey leads him to the Hills Dogs—a covert pack of strays commanded by Seto, a magic-wielding Miniature Schnauzer—who aid his mission.

Brimming with bubbly determination and steadfast loyalty, Tetsunoshin’s speech carries the melodic lilt of a Kyushu dialect, punctuated by the suffix “-tai” and habitually peppered with his signature exclamation, “Big ‘OMG!’” He forges deep connections within the pack, notably with Pochi, an adoring Bull Terrier, and Chocolat, a sharp-tongued Chihuahua sparking his heartfelt affection. Their bond evolves from clashing first impressions to tender reciprocity, strained by Chocolat’s covert allegiance to the rival Shirogane Dogs.

Through Seto’s sorcery, Tetsunoshin gains a magical ability to morph into Celebrity Knight—a humanoid alter ego clad in a blue hoodie, mask, and goggles. This disguise, initially confined to three-minute bursts, lets him navigate human realms while battling time constraints and exposure risks. The enchanted goggles bestowed by Seto guide him to Dog Paradise, the Hills Dogs’ elusive sanctuary.

Hailing from a prestigious pedigree as the 81st of 102 siblings, his lineage scroll suffers irreparable damage in Episode 25. His wide-eyed naivety hardens into unyielding resilience as he faces escalating threats from the Shirogane Dogs under Neo’s command. These clashes climax in devastating personal losses, including Chocolat’s life in Episode 50 when she intercepts a fatal blow meant for him, and a fleeting belief in Neo’s familial ties, later revealed as false.

His arc traces his shift from slapstick blunders to confronting moral ambiguity—betrayal, mortality, and advocating peace between canine factions. While securing redemptions for foes like John and Neo, others like Sasuke spurn his philosophy. He endures bizarre trials, including a humiliating curse that transmutes him into a monkey and conquers a crippling fear of water in his natural form.

The manga amplifies his antics with absurdist humor—exaggerated clumsiness and flatulence—contrasting the anime’s focus on his gradual coming-of-age. By Episode 23, he ages to one year, mirroring the narrative’s temporal progression.
