Description
Jirou Yoshidayama attends class 2-C, later moving to 2-D. Standing 1.53 meters tall with blood type A, his signature orange hair usually spikes upward. However, when it falls down—such as in a bathhouse or styled in pigtails—it causes mistaken identity, making him appear female and resembling Eri Sawachika.

He openly admires Eri Sawachika as his primary romantic interest, focusing on her more intently than other female classmates across various episodes.

A persistent rivalry defines his relationship with Kenji Harima. Yoshidayama relentlessly challenges Harima's position as the class delinquent, opposing him in multiple scenarios including parodies. This stems from Yoshidayama's ambition to become the school's top delinquent, complicated by Harima's established reputation.

He forms a close-knit trio with friends Kentarou Nara and Ganji Nishimoto, frequently collaborating on activities. Nishimoto's access to videos via his family's store fuels their shared research interest in female classmates and teachers. Over time, this group evolves into the informally dubbed "trio of the hopeless."

In the AWA spin-off narrative, Yoshidayama attends AWA Academy in Class 13. His personality shifts, becoming markedly louder and more verbose. His appearance adapts to include a gray hoodie worn open over a black tank top, tiger-striped shorts, and sneakers, occasionally featuring unconventional hairstyles. His romantic interest redirects toward the school nurse, Tae Anegasaki.

Within this narrative, he develops a close friendship with Takatoshi "Big Taka" Tsuda. They operate as a wrestling tag team where Yoshidayama serves as the "damage tank," absorbing opponent attacks to build momentum for Big Taka's interventions. Their coordinated signature move, the "Fastball Special Finishing Move," leverages their size difference. Despite lacking significant physical strength, Yoshidayama displays notable resilience in enduring punishment during these sequences. His AWA character design and fighting style draw inspiration from WWE's Enzo Amore.
