Description
Archanfel, also known as Alkanphel, stands as a central and formidable antagonist engineered by the advanced extraterrestrial Creators. Crafted 100,000 years ago, he ranks as Earth’s second-oldest entity, surpassed only by Waferdanos. Tasked with commanding the Zoanoid armies and overseeing the eleven Zoalords, his authority stems from the Zoacrystal shards embedded within them—fragments of his own immense violet-glowing crystal, the source of his unmatched psychic and physical prowess.
In human guise, Archanfel manifests as a pale-skinned youth with stark white hair, pointed ears, and piercing cat-like yellow eyes. His battleform reveals a gold-armored exoskeleton studded with gravity spheres and jagged crystalline growths, radiating a luminous golden aura. Wing-like spines curve from his head, shoulders, and forearms, amplifying his ethereal, menacing visage.
Aloof and detached, Archanfel views humanity with cold disdain, a reflection of his engineered superiority. He executes objectives with merciless precision, exemplified by his annihilation of the rogue Aptom or his brutal extraction of Richard Guyot’s Zoacrystal. Yet he displays a complex capacity for trust, notably toward his confidant Imakarum Mirabilis, blending loyalty with an unyielding authoritarian ethos.
His origins are steeped in betrayal. Once loyal to the Creators, Archanfel defied them when they abandoned Earth and hurled a moon-sized asteroid to obliterate it. Using psionic might, he shattered the projectile, triggering an ice age with its debris. Weakened, he retreated into hibernation within a crippled Creator bioship, later revered as a deity by surviving Zoanoids who enshrined him within a temple.
Millennia later, Archanfel awoke and co-founded Chronos with the human elder Barcas, molding humanity into a militarized force against the Creators. Delegating daily rule to Zoalord councils, he intermittently hibernated until modern threats—Guyvers, dissenters like Guyot—forced his resurgence. Confronting Guyot’s black hole weapon, he survived and later executed the traitor by telekinetically ripping out his Zoacrystal.
After securing Chronos’ global dominion, Archanfel returned to slumber, entrusting governance to Barcas and Mirabilis. His enduring aim remains preparing humanity for the Creators’ return, with sporadic interventions hinting at relentless strategic control. A near-immortal architect, his resilience against cataclysms and mastery of alien technology cement his role as Earth’s shadow sovereign.
