Mara is a mechanic living in the immigrant community of Casa and the mother of a boy named Mio. She is a resilient woman with a strong sense of justice. When her brother, Mio, joins a gang and betrays their community, Mara works to protect him while also striving to do what is right for the village. She assists Joe by repairing his motorcycle. Her role is that of a reliable, supportive figure, someone the community leader, Chief, could count on for support.
