Chico is a Mexican youth living in rural South America. Convinced the creature Bagi killed his father, he pursues vengeance against her. He meets Ryo, a Japanese hunter also tracking Bagi, and allies with him temporarily. Chico guides their pursuit through the wilderness, sharing local knowledge and information about recent Bagi sightings, while demonstrating skill with traditional weapons like bolas. His attire typically includes a sombrero. Chico's terrain knowledge and tracking skills aid their efforts in locating Bagi. His quest concludes when Ryo discovers evidence proving Bagi was not responsible for his father's death, bringing closure to his storyline.
