Description
Marcia, a young woman traveling by motorcycle, intercepts a high-speed car chase involving military vehicles and encounters Noera. She retrieves a locked metal box containing a mysterious dark orb from a crashed vehicle, igniting the core conflict. Finding a Persian cat at the crash site, she names it Fumia; the cat becomes her constant companion throughout ensuing events.

After touching the orb and sharing a vision of Death Valley with Noera, she impulsively links this vision to the "American Dream" and insists on traveling immediately to Death Valley to pursue this undefined objective. She exhibits persistent determination to reach this destination, relentlessly pursued by military forces and foreign agents seeking the orb. Her background, history, and life before these events remain unexplored, rendering her motivations enigmatic.

Her personality radiates energetic spontaneity and a carefree attitude towards peril. She labels chaotic car chases and violent confrontations as "fun," displaying consistent fearlessness. She demonstrates immediate, unexplained devotion to the orb's purpose, acting on sudden whims without clear rationale—such as offering to sleep with Noera at a motel, a suggestion he declines. Her actions prioritize the journey to Death Valley above personal safety or logical consequences.

She exhibits notable protectiveness towards the cat Fumia, which repeatedly aids their escape by attacking pursuers. The narrative concludes during their escape at Death Valley when the orb breaks after saving them from drowning. Her ultimate fate and the resolution of her quest remain permanently unresolved due to the cancellation of the planned sequel.
