Bamboo-Lee, a red panda, leads his group. His original quest to find a new home after his bamboo forest died shifted when he formed a team. He possesses a magical bamboo stick from the researcher No-How, allowing him to summon the dragon Ai-Ai for transportation during missions.

Bamboo-Lee coordinates global efforts to protect endangered species, strategically confronting threats primarily from the Ratco Corporation. He directs the group against Ratco's poaching, habitat destruction, and pollution. His responsibilities include using Ai-Ai's backpack-computer to communicate with No-How for mission guidance and information.

The group operates under his leadership alongside Dah-Lin (a bamboo rat), Slo-Lee (a gluttonous giant panda), and Ai-Ai. They focus on rescuing animals from extinction threats, dedicating each mission to a specific endangered species.
