Description
Aslan begins as a simple shepherd in the wilderness. His life takes an unexpected turn when two genies on a magic carpet encounter him. The female genie instantly forms a romantic attachment to Aslan. To save the male genie from the mortal danger of being seen by a human, the male genie retrieves Princess Jalis from Baghdad. Unexpected complications force the male genie to teleport Jalis away prematurely, after which he departs in frustration, leaving the female genie behind. The female genie transforms herself into a horse and assists Aslan on his journey toward Baghdad.
Crossing the desert, Aslan discovers Princess Jalis, separated by the genies' intervention. A mutual romantic connection sparks between them. Jalis is revealed as the daughter of Miriam, Aldin's deceased lover. Aslan accompanies Jalis to Baghdad where their bond deepens.
In Baghdad, Aldin has become king by winning a competition involving his magical ship. Upon meeting Jalis and learning her lineage, Aldin is determined to marry her, ignoring her existing relationship with Aslan. This creates the central conflict, as Jalis's affections belong to Aslan, not Aldin. Aldin leverages his royal authority to pressure Jalis into marriage. Aslan's presence and connection to Jalis directly threaten Aldin's plans.
