Description
Aladdin appears as an elderly Nile ferryman. He once possessed a wish-granting genie lamp but lost it long ago, leading to his impoverished state. When a river genie steals his boat, the young Sinbad intervenes, tricking the genie into submission. This act earns Sinbad Aladdin's undying loyalty, and Aladdin joins Sinbad's journey as a permanent companion. He provides accumulated wisdom and experience, offering guidance during their adventures. His backstory as a former lamp owner connects him loosely to the traditional tale, though his current role is that of a supporting sage.

Sinbad is the only son of a wealthy, renowned Baghdad merchant. His adventurous spirit is sparked by his sea-faring uncle, Captain Ali, whose tales of distant lands inspire him. Early on, he receives a talking bird named Shera from his uncle. Defying his parents' wishes, Sinbad stows away on his uncle's ship. A giant whale attack separates him from his uncle and strands him on a deserted island, marking the start of his solo journey with Shera. Upon returning home, he discovers his parents vanished after setting out to find him, presumably lost at sea. With no remaining ties in Baghdad, Sinbad sets sail again to search for both adventure and his missing family.

Throughout their travels, Sinbad and Aladdin journey together alongside companions: the talking bird Shera, a street water-seller named Hassan, and a former desert raider named Ali Baba. They encounter various mythical creatures and adversaries, including giants, mermaids, hostile genies, and evil sorcerers like Tabasa and her sons Satajit and Balba. Satajit specifically transformed Shera and her parents into birds. Their adventures involve navigating challenges inspired by the Arabian Nights, including encounters with the Forty Thieves and the Flying Horse. Aladdin consistently provides wise advice drawn from his lifetime of experiences. Sinbad demonstrates resourcefulness and cleverness in overcoming obstacles, driven by his desire for exploration and the hope of reuniting with his lost family.

The group's main antagonists include the sorceress Tabasa and her sons, Satajit and Balba, who employ dark magic against them. Another foe, the sorceress Sugaru, appears as a beautiful woman but harbors a monstrous true form revealed by her shadow. Their ultimate adversary is the Blue Demon King, a powerful fiend commanding evil magicians and genies. The climax of their adventures involves confronting these sorcerers and ultimately defeating the Blue Demon King. This victory leads to a reunion with Sinbad's parents and uncle, who had been captured during their search for him.
