TV-Series
Description
Sanada serves as chief maid to the Valhalla royal family with unwavering loyalty and dedication, primarily focused on supporting Princess Valkyrie unconditionally throughout all seasons. After Valkyrie transferred half her soul to Kazuto and appeared in child form, Sanada developed fervent admiration for the princess's youthful appearance, frequently expressing enthusiastic excitement over her perceived cuteness.

Residing at the Tokino bathhouse, Sanada actively involves herself in Valkyrie's life on Earth and assists with household operations. She strongly advocates for Valkyrie's romantic relationship with Kazuto, referring to him as "Princess' fiancé" after Valkyrie declared her affection. This support sometimes manifests in extreme actions, most notably in Season 1 when she misinterpreted Kazuto's interaction with Akina. Using a specialized "Cat Ear Gun," she transformed numerous girls into a brainwashed catgirl maid squadron under her command. The resulting confrontation with Akina and Hydra caused significant property damage before Kazuto resolved the misunderstanding, prompting Sanada's apology.

Throughout Season 2, Sanada maintains her supportive role while adapting to Earth's customs. Her loyalty extends to Ghost Valkyrie despite its lack of relation to the original princess. During an incident involving defective space bath soap that temporarily regressed Sanada and others to childhood, she later expressed anger at her catgirl maids for their inaction after returning to normal. She also participates in group activities, such as assisting Valkyrie in a singing competition aimed at winning a television for the bathhouse.

Season 3 introduces Sanada's superhero alter ego, "Cat Eared Maiden," through which she covertly aids Valkyrie and Kazuto. When Valkyrie develops an affinity for this persona during a treasure hunt ritual with spirit stones, Sanada gifts her a handcrafted figure. Her dedication leads to extreme behavior, including being arrested twice for secretly spying on Valkyrie at Princess Laine and Chorus's residence.

Regarding relationships, Sanada exhibits particular animosity toward Princess Laine due to Laine's historical attempts to monopolize Valkyrie's attention on Valhalla. This contrasts with her growing friendship with Princess Mehm, which evolves beyond formal roles. Among Earth residents, Sanada respects Kazuto for his kindness, maintains friendship with Rika despite occasional bewilderment over her behavior, and reconciles with Akina after their initial conflict. Her dynamic with other Valhallan princesses varies: she treats Hydra with less enthusiasm than Valkyrie, while her connection with Chorus remains ambiguous despite occasional concern.

Sanada possesses practical skills beyond maid duties, including culinary expertise, combat proficiency, and weapon knowledge. These abilities surface during her Season 3 superhero activities and her management of the catgirl maid squadron. Though she typically maintains their brainwashing without recalling individual names, she can summon them using a whistle when necessary.
