Resentful over stolen research, Eric manipulated Sanada into betraying his mentor, recruiting him for schemes fueled by vengeance against the Kananase family. Sanada actively supported Eric's plan to brainwash Wolf, weaponizing him against Yu and Kaori Kananase. Throughout this conflict, Sanada's psyche deteriorated, his actions growing increasingly erratic and unhinged until he succumbed completely to madness. This mental collapse stemmed directly from his deep involvement in the Remake technology and Eric's destructive ambitions. His path ended in death, a direct consequence of the chaos surrounding the Remake conflict and the exploitation of Norse mythological constructs like the Ragnarok computer system.
