Description
Berezovich Kryuger is a retired military officer and former tactical commander for the Ministry of Internal Affairs. His career featured leading the rescue and escort operation for scientist Persicaria, forging a lasting friendship. Witnessing extensive loss of life during service motivated his shift toward less destructive work in retirement. He co-founded the private military company Griffin & Kryuger with Griffin Lyons, utilizing funds from the Persicaria mission. The organization aimed to protect vulnerable populations without government security.

Griffin & Kryuger initially deployed human soldiers but transitioned to armed civilian Tactical Dolls to reduce human casualties and operational expenses. As CEO until 2064, Kryuger took personal interest in advancing second-generation T-Doll technology. He cultivated a robust partnership with manufacturer IOP, sharing combat data to enhance doll efficiency. This collaboration enabled Griffin & Kryuger to influence T-Doll development standards, including weapon-based naming conventions. Kryuger negotiated with Sangvis Ferri during Lycoris’s defection from IOP, securing future research exchange for safe passage—a decision later criticized for fueling subsequent conflicts.

When Sangvis Ferri’s T-Dolls revolted in the 2061 Butterfly Incident, the weakened Griffin & Kryuger accepted a 2062 contract to contain them in Sector S09. Kryuger prioritized ending hostilities swiftly to realign with the company’s founding ideals. He demonstrated hands-on leadership during Plan Parapluie, defending bases with his personal revolver and arming the Commander for self-protection. He executed solo reconnaissance behind enemy lines, gathering vital intelligence like AR-15’s data trail. Kryuger authorized high-stakes operations, including capturing Sangvis Ferri’s Jupiter Cannon and recovering Lycoris’s File No. 7—the latter costing M16A1 to Sangvis Ferri.

Kryuger displayed strategic caution in organizational dealings. He distrusted Squad 404 despite their contract record and navigated political tensions between entities like KCCO and the Bureau of State Security. During the 2064 joint assault on Sangvis Ferri’s headquarters, he anticipated betrayal by KCCO General Carter. As contingency, Kryuger placed all G&K T-Dolls under the Commander’s direct control. When KCCO framed Griffin & Kryuger for treason, he ordered adjutant Helianthus to sustain operations while surrendering to arrest on falsified charges of illegal arms trafficking and unauthorized T-Doll modifications. His arrest was later exploited by the Bureau to coerce the Commander’s cooperation.

Facing forced downsizing by the Union of Rossartrism Nations Coalition in late 2064, Kryuger departed Griffin & Kryuger with Kalina to join the coalition’s Non-Military Forces Administration, remaining there as of 2074. Earlier that year, before the Frankfurt mission, he formally entrusted the Commander with supreme authority over Griffin’s Berlin base, symbolically passing responsibility for the company’s future. His character blends stern pragmatism with profound care for subordinates, epitomized by unwavering trust in Helianthus. Personal traits include contempt for terrorism and a commitment to preserving human life, driving his early T-Doll adoption and vision of Griffin & Kryuger as a protective force.
