Description
Kenichi Kokuhō, separated in the mountains during early childhood, was mentored by foster father Cha Genmai in Cha Genmai Style Karate and wilderness survival. Discovering his lineage at fifteen, he rejoined his biological family—sister Yukie, brother Kenji, and father Kenkichi, a potted plant artisan—marking his tentative reintegration into society.

Isolated upbringing left him unversed in social conventions, fueling comedic misunderstandings and clashes. His martial discipline and untamed instincts drove unorthodox solutions to everyday challenges, disrupting routines yet underscoring steadfast loyalty to family and incremental adaptation to urban life.

Flipper, a wolf with feline-like features, accompanied him from the mountains as a domesticated companion. Navigating school dynamics exposed friction with peers like delinquent Gai Hidō and Sandy Uper, an American transfer student, emphasizing his struggle to decode social hierarchies and cultural nuances.

A video game spin-off cast him on a mission to save Yukie from the dragon Dra Gon, highlighting his combat expertise and protective resolve. Later OVAs introduced chaotic escapades involving invisibility pills and surreal incidents, though his earnest nature and reliance on physicality persisted.

Sequels and spin-offs maintained narrative continuity, prioritizing his outsider perspective and incremental acclimation to societal norms without altering his core identity or history.
