TV-Series
Description
Dorcus is a stag beetle-type Medarot, model KWG-5X, equipped with the Twin Headset (Twin Incom) head part, Forvice right arm, Intense Beat left arm, and Wind Flack leg part. Designed for grappling and scanning, it excels in close combat. Dorcus can perform Medachange to transform and fire anti-air and anti-sea missiles, adapting to rough terrains like mountains and volcanoes.

In the *Medarot* game series, specifically *Medarot 3* and *Medarot 4*, Dorcus debuts as an upgraded version of Rokusho. In *Medarot 3*, Dr. Medarot gifts Dorcus parts to Ikki Tenryou, enabling Rokusho's upgrade and gaining Medachange capability. In *Medarot 4*, Dorcus serves as Ikki's primary Medabot in the Kuwagata version, already upgraded. Later games like *Medarot DS*, *Medarot 7*, and *Medarot 8* feature Dorcus as an obtainable or event-exclusive Medabot, sometimes with minor model number variations (e.g., KWG05-M in *Medarot DS*, KWG05C in *Medarot 8*) denoting Medachange.

Within the anime *Medarot Damashii*, Yuuzuru, a classmate of Ikki Tenryou, owns Dorcus. Yuuzuru operates covertly as the "Mysterious Medarotter," using Dorcus exclusively to destroy emotionless Death Medarots developed by the Death Medarot Company. Dorcus's combat focuses on eliminating these adversaries, though Yuuzuru employs ruthless methods that disregard Robattle rules and cause collateral damage. Yuuzuru eventually abandons Dorcus for the Death Medarot Excise, believing it superior. After Ikki intervenes, Yuuzuru reconciles with Dorcus and resumes using it against Death Medarots. This anime arc is distinct, with no direct connection to Rokusho or prior series characters.

Dorcus also appears in spin-off games like *Metabee Shot* as a selectable opponent and in *Medarot Brave* as a Medabot owned by Kouji Karakuchi. These portrayals are independent of its anime or main game storylines.
