Description
Illumina is a human character in the *Transformers: Victory* continuity, established as a kind and compassionate school classmate of Jan Minakaze. She acts as a voice against violence among her peers.

She befriends Jan upon his enrollment. When the Decepticons Leozack and Dinoforce attack the school, other students blame Jan for attracting the conflict. Illumina defends him, arguing the Decepticons target Autobots and would devastate the world without Autobot intervention.

Later, Jan and the Autobot Holi give her a tour of the Autobot base. She departs early to attend an Ocean Exhibition, which the Decepticons subsequently target. During this attack, she rescues a young girl named Emily from falling debris but becomes trapped herself, requiring rescue by Jan and Holi.

In another incident, Jan pilots a transformable mech vehicle built with Autobot assistance. While giving Illumina and classmates a ride, he announces naming it "Illumina II" in her honor, securing her permission. This mech later plays significant roles in Autobot missions, including self-destructing to destroy a Decepticon fortress power core.

Her relationship with Jan evolves from friendship to mutual romantic interest. This culminates in their marriage by 2050, as shown in the *Generations Selects Special Comic*. They have a child. Following a Quintesson invasion and Earth energy eruptions, the family evacuates Neo Scramble City aboard the Decepticon-turned-neutral Astrotrain.

A variant named Lumina Hoshi appears in the *Binaltech Asterisk* series, explicitly derived from Illumina.
