Description
Liokaiser represents the combined form of the elite Decepticon Breastforce, commanded by Deathsaurus and hailing from the Death Zone. This gestalt entity integrates six distinct warriors: Leozack (head and upper torso), Jallguar (lower torso), Guyhawk (right arm), Hellbat (left arm), Killbison (right leg), and Drillhorn (left leg). Unlike typical combiners, Liokaiser operates with heightened intelligence and coordination, functioning as a unified military unit rather than being dominated by a single consciousness. Internal disputes among its component members, however, can occasionally impair combat effectiveness through distraction.
Liokaiser first emerged during the conflict on Planet Micro, combining to confront Star Saber. The combiner nearly defeated the Autobot leader, demonstrating overwhelming power that forced Star Saber into retreat until God Ginrai arrived. Even their combined efforts only managed a temporary repulsion. Throughout the war, Liokaiser engaged multiple Autobot forces with tactical precision, defeating the combiners Road Caesar and Landcross, as well as the shuttle warrior Galaxy Shuttle. Key abilities employed included the power of invisibility and electromagnetic nunchaku, versatile weapons deployable as spears, tasers, or a combined energy whip. Liokaiser's signature "Battle Explosion" maneuver involved a brief mid-combat separation, enabling coordinated individual attacks before rapid recombination.
The combiner's dominance shifted with the arrival of Victory Leo, God Ginrai's rebuilt form. After Star Saber and Victory Leo unified into Victory Saber, Liokaiser suffered decisive defeats, notably during a mission to steal the Unification plans and later defending Atlantis. In the final confrontation against Deathsaurus's planet-destroying fortress, Liokaiser battled Victory Leo alone when Star Saber separated to infiltrate. During this fight, Victory Leo blasted Liokaiser into the main cannon of the Decepticon Space City. The cannon's energy drain left the combiner lifeless, its grayed body adrift in space.
Beyond the primary Victory narrative, Liokaiser appeared in expanded media. In the Zone continuity, Dark Emperor Deathsaurus resurrected the combiner to assault Planet Zone in an attempt to steal Energon Z, though Micromasters repelled the Decepticons. The Victory comic depicted Liokaiser ambushing Star Saber and Jan Minakaze, though internal Breastforce arguments enabled an Autobot counterattack. Alternate configurations existed in other realities, including versions where Deathsaurus formed the torso or where Deathcobra (a former Breastforce candidate murdered by Hellbat) replaced Hellbat as an arm or shoulder cannon.
