TV-Series
Description
Hellbat operates as a spy soldier within the Decepticon Breastforce, answering directly to Deathsaurus. He transforms into a black and white Dassault Rafale delta wing jet. He specializes in intelligence gathering and covert operations, moving with near-silent stealth like a shadow. His signature ability emits mesmerizing sonic waves through the chant "Saimin, suimin, tōmin, Hellbat!" (Hypnotism, sleep, hibernation), weakening foes and potentially influencing their actions. During flight, he utilizes a Dead I-beam attack that detects enemy body contours to induce paralyzing fear.

His chestplate detaches as Kōmoribreast, functioning either as an independent bat-like robotic partner or transforming into the handheld Kōmori Cannon weapon. Kōmoribreast wields an energy-draining whip-like tongue capable of siphoning energon from adversaries. Hellbat also employs electromagnetic nunchaku in combat, though his effectiveness is frequently undermined by his own personality and actions.

Hellbat burns with intense ambition, relentlessly scheming to elevate his status within the Breastforce. He openly disdains his commanding officer, Leozack, believing himself superior and habitually bypassing Leozack to deliver intelligence directly to Deathsaurus. This behavior fosters deep distrust and resentment among his teammates, especially Leozack. He spreads rumors, shifts blame for failures onto others, and prioritizes self-preservation above team cohesion. His underhanded tactics are widely known, making him despised by fellow Decepticons, yet a peculiar aspect of his character prevents universal hatred, allowing him to retain his position through silver-tongued persuasion despite pervasive dislike.

His story features significant betrayals and desperate maneuvers. Early missions involve infiltrating the New Energy Resource Research and Development Laboratory; he hypnotizes human and Autobot guards but triggers an alarm, leading to confrontation. During a subsequent Nevada spaceport energy theft, he abandons Leozack mid-battle after being shot down, intending to blame his commander. Another scheme sees him invade the Autobot Shuttle Base during a diversion; he accidentally triggers alarms, kidnaps humans Jan and Holi, and ultimately steals irrelevant data—Jan's homework—which he presents to Deathsaurus.

He hires mercenaries Black Shadow and Blue Bacchus to raid Planet Micro's energy facilities. Confronted by Star Saber, he destroys the energy plant to avoid defeat, fails to pay his allies, and flees. Later, during the Satellite Penitentiary mission to free Breastforce member Guyhawk, Hellbat voices concern that Guyhawk’s addition might threaten his standing. His panic intensifies upon learning Leozack plans to replace him with Deathcobra. In a desperate encounter, he pleads with Deathcobra to leave; when refused, an accidental discharge sparks a firefight where Hellbat kills Deathcobra through a blindly fired shot. He frames Autobot Micromasters for the death and leverages this incident to solidify his place in the Breastforce.

As part of the Breastforce, he combines with his teammates to form the combiner Liokaiser, serving as its left arm. This role persists despite his unpopularity, cemented after Deathcobra’s elimination. Subsequent missions include Antarctic oil drilling, desert ambushes targeting the Brainmasters, and energy raids on solar plants. He later discovers intelligence about God Ginrai’s apparent demise and identifies a major energy stockpile, leading to further theft attempts ultimately thwarted by Victory Leo.
