However, it suppressed nearly all emotions, rendering her outwardly quiet, reserved, and expressionless, as feelings were deemed nonessential for defeating the Demon Lord. Despite this, she harbored a deep, obsessive love for her brother, her sole emotional anchor since childhood. His departure, orchestrated by the sage Ares Srowa, left her profoundly lonely and ignited her resistance against the blessing's control.

After her brother's banishment, Ruti's internal struggle intensified. Compelled by the blessing to continue her quest, she resented Ares's betrayal and rejected his marriage proposals three times. The blessing prevented open defiance, causing inner torment. Emotions occasionally surfaced, such as rage over her brother's treatment briefly overwhelming the suppression and nearly driving her to kill Ares before the blessing forced her to heal him. She eventually discovered a method to weaken the blessing's influence via a potion from a contract demon, discarded her Orichalcum Amulet to relinquish the Hero title, and forged a new blessing called New Truth. This new blessing dominated and suppressed the Hero's Blessing, restoring her autonomy. She abandoned her quest and traveled to the frontier town of Zoltan under the alias "Rule" to reunite with her brother.

In Zoltan, Ruti reunited with Red and his wife, Rit, though her brother declined to rejoin her journey. She settled permanently, using New Truth to suppress the Hero's Blessing's impulses. She joined Red's herb shop as an employee, became a B-rank adventurer despite her diminished status, and embraced a quiet life. She started an herb farm with her close friend Tisse Garland and assumed protective roles for the town. Freed from emotional constraints, she gradually reclaimed suppressed experiences—catching a cold, savoring simple pleasures—marking her transition to ordinary existence. Her relationships evolved, including accepting Rit as a sister-in-law despite her persistent brother complex, and maintaining loyalty to allies like Tisse and Yarandrala, a former party member.

Ruti's abilities evolved with New Truth. Its "Ruler" power controlled other blessings, ensuring the Hero's Blessing remained dormant. Though no longer the official Hero, she retained her original combat skills and occasionally demonstrated overwhelming strength during mundane tasks or town defenses. Her journey reflects a rejection of destiny imposed by divine blessings, emphasizing her reclamation of identity beyond the Hero designation.
