TV-Series
Description
Road King begins as a human champion racer, crowned "The British Wolf" for dominating Europe's Rouen Racing Circuit. His Formula-1 car, a gift from mentor Germain, carries a legacy of surviving crashes unscathed – a trait later revealed as its true nature as a self-repairing Transtector. This discovery attracts the Autobots, who recruit Road King and provide Master Braces, enabling him to merge with the Transtector and become their fourth Godmaster warrior. The Transtector transforms into a yellow Formula-1 racer with blue highlights, capable of Mach 9.5 speeds, which Road King expertly maintains and operates as a first-rate mechanic.

He embodies a loud, boisterous, and charismatic "big city" celebrity personality, with a noted appreciation for female attention. This occasionally clashes with the quieter, nature-focused Ranger, though their disagreements resolve amicably with jokes, underscoring a strong camaraderie. In combat, Road King wields Chōkon Power for his signature "Rotary Burst Typhoon" attack, charging his body with energy and spinning rapidly at enemies – a technique effective against foes like the Seacon Gulf.

His early missions include defending Germain from Decepticon Headmaster Juniors, rescuing doctors kidnapped by Decepticon Pretenders on Atlan Island, and protecting the Autobots' Bomber Project facility, where he distracts Decepticons by disguising his Transtector as the Godbomber drone. Road King engages major Decepticon threats like Overlord, BlackZarak, and the Godmaster brothers Hydra and Buster. He demonstrates tactical awareness and loyalty, such as trailing the Decepticon Headmaster Junior Cancer in China and alerting Ginrai to BlackZarak's attacks when outmatched.

During the final conflict against Devil Z-possessed BlackZarak, Road King battles reanimated Transtectors of former Decepticon Godmasters. Following Devil Z's destruction, the separation between human Godmasters and their Transtectors occurs. Road King permanently loses his transformation abilities, but his Transtector gains full sentience, imprinted with his personality and memories. This autonomous entity joins mechanized Autobots pursuing defeated Decepticons into space to continue the war.

Beyond the animated series, Road King appears in the *Super-God Masterforce* manga, arriving alongside Ranger and Lightfoot during a battle to deliver a trailer to Ginrai; Ginrai combines with it to obliterate a legion of Decepticon holograms.
