TV-Series
Description
King Poseidon emerges when the sentient Seacon commander Turtler merges with one drone of each type under his command, forming a combined entity solely controlled by Turtler's more cold and cruel consciousness. The core component is Turtler, while drones like Lobclaw, Kraken, and Gulfs typically form the limbs, though the specific drone composition varies.
Within the *Super-God Masterforce* anime, King Poseidon first overwhelmed Ginrai off the American coast until Super Ginrai destroyed the combiner's limbs, leaving only Turtler. Subsequent defeats followed: Super Ginrai severed an arm in Canada, causing King Poseidon to impale his own leg; near Australia, God Ginrai threw him into a volcano and blasted him apart after a failed trap attempt; and during Shūta Gō's capture, the defecting Cancer destroyed his arm, leading to disintegration by Godbomber. His final destruction in the Alps saw God Ginrai disassemble him with a God Punch before permanently blasting apart the recombined form with the God Cannon. Turtler always survived to reform the combiner.
Later, in the *Generations Selects Special Comic*, Turtler recreated the Seacons using Angolmois Energy within the Precursor World. This upgraded King Poseidon battled Star Convoy for the Silver Matrix, demonstrating enhanced durability by summoning replacement drones for destroyed limbs. He allied with Super Megatron but turned against him upon discovering Halfshell's manipulation, resulting in another destruction. King Poseidon later recombined using Seacons from 2050 as part of the Scramble 7 formation, defending the Blue Planet alongside God Neptune during a multidimensional conflict.
In the *Zone* OVA and manga, King Poseidon resurfaced as the "Oceanic Fish General," one of Violengiguar's Nine Great Demon Generals granted enhanced powers and weaponry. He assaulted the ocean planet Wall alongside Trypticon but was repelled. Later, on Earth, he briefly secured the Zodiac before losing it to Dai Atlas and Sonic Bomber. The unleashed energies of the Zodiac destroyed him during the confrontation.
Across all appearances, King Poseidon exhibits vulnerability to dismemberment and suffers repeated defeats, functioning more as a tactical weapon than a strategic threat. His operational limitations persist despite upgrades or alliances, underscored by dependence on Turtler's singular consciousness and expendable drone components.
