Description
Burning Convoy emerges as a transient combat state of Optimus Primal, triggered during the decisive confrontation with Majin Zarak in the *Beast Wars II* film. This fusion form arises when Optimus Primal’s Energon Matrix merges with that of Lio Convoy, igniting an exponential surge in their combined power. The union alters Optimus Primal’s physical design, adopting a fiery crimson and gold armor scheme, with the Energon Matrix’s raw energy materializing as cascading flames across his frame.

The transformation unfolds after Optimus Primal is summoned through a temporal rift to aid Lio Convoy’s forces against Zarak. Recognizing the threat’s vulnerability—its sentient third eye—the two leaders synchronize their Matrices, channeling the fused energy into a devastating strike that obliterates Zarak. This synchronized assault temporarily anchors their merged state, enhancing their combat efficiency and tactical coordination.

Post-battle, Optimus Primal retreats to his original timeline to prevent spacetime destabilization, dissolving the Burning Convoy form. No canonical records document its reactivation, as the fusion remains chronologically isolated to this event.

Merchandise, such as redecoed action figures, replicates the form’s visual traits: flame-patterned swords, shoulder-mounted artillery, and translucent crimson elements mimicking the fiery aura. These adaptations remain aesthetic tributes, unconnected to lore expansion.

Burning Convoy’s existence is narrative-bound, exclusively resolving the Zarak conflict without recurrence or deeper exploration in other continuities, cementing its role as a transient cinematic solution.
