TV Special
Description
Convoy, later called Burning Convoy, hails from a different timeline than the primary narrative. He is summoned to the planet Gaia when Magnaboss activates a teleport gate device, sacrificing his own spark energy to tear Convoy through spacetime. This intervention occurs during a critical battle where the Predacon emperor Galvatron commands the colossal Decepticon Majin Zarak against the Maximals.
Convoy arrives amidst his own pivotal moment from the Beast Wars season one finale. He manifests physically on Gaia encircled by a distinctive, crackling golden aura signaling his trans-temporal journey. Upon awakening, he immediately allies with Lio Convoy, leader of Gaia's Maximals. Despite his legendary status, Convoy explicitly defers to Lio Convoy's strategic command, acknowledging the local leader's familiarity with the conflict and terrain.
In combat, Convoy demonstrates significant power and leadership, coordinating effectively with Lio Convoy and other Maximals against Galvatron and Majin Zarak. When conventional weapons fail against Majin Zarak's armor, Convoy and Lio Convoy undergo a simultaneous metamorphosis. Combining their energies triggers this transformation, upgrading Convoy into Burning Convoy, marked by intensified power and a fiery corona.
A critical tactical revelation identifies Majin Zarak's third eye as a vulnerability. Burning Convoy and Flash Lio Convoy (Lio Convoy's enhanced form) execute a coordinated aerial assault. Burning Convoy initiates the strike, physically impacting the eye, followed by both opening their Matrix compartments. They unleash a combined "Double Matrix Blaster" attack powered by their merged Energon Matrices, which successfully shatters Majin Zarak.
Following the battle, Burning Convoy determines he must return to his original timeline. His prolonged presence in the future risks catastrophic temporal paradoxes due to the teleport gate technology's inherent instability. He departs after expressing respect for Lio Convoy's leadership and the unity displayed by the Gaia Maximals.
