Description
Caim emerges as the firstborn of Adam and Eve, born into a bleak world after their exile from Eden. Humanity’s existence is marked by ceaseless labor and anguish, a direct consequence of ancestral transgression. Raised beneath the weight of divine wrath, he labors to cultivate the barren earth, sustaining his family through relentless effort. His brother Abel tends flocks, presenting animal sacrifices that earn heaven’s approval, while Caim’s harvests—offered in earnest—are met with indifference. Bitterness festers as the brothers’ roles diverge, their rivalry escalating until rage erupts in a fatal clash: Abel falls by Caim’s hand.
This primal act of brother-murder draws irrevocable judgment. Caim is cursed to roam eternally, exiled from fertile soil, which now withers at his touch. A divine sigil brands him, shielding him from retribution by others, prolonging his existence as a hollow testament to sin’s enduring legacy. His tale echoes as an ancient parable of envy’s corruption, the harsh ledger of justice, and kinship shattered by violence.
