Storm Force 9 uncovers Morelli’s true identity as an alien from Planet Zolion early in the conflict. Black Orchid serves as a front for his species’ invasion, deploying drugs to enslave humanity and introducing superior alien weaponry. Morelli personally oversees weapon deliveries via UFOs to vessels like the supertanker Gargantua in the Atlantic. He employs psychological warfare, broadcasting global demands for humanity’s submission and threatening Storm Force operatives’ families.

Morelli adapts swiftly to setbacks. After failures like the destruction of an alien supply ship in "Barracuda," he retaliates against high-value targets. His infiltration tactics include replacing key figures like submarine commander Captain Thomas Nicholson with alien duplicates. He orchestrates large-scale traps, such as ambushing Storm Force members in the Brazilian rainforest during a mission to disable an alien transmitter.

In escalated operations, Morelli collaborates directly with other alien commanders.
