Description
Aguille Delaz commanded the *Verdant Green*, a Musai-class light cruiser, within the Principality of Zeon's space attack forces during the One Year War, later leading a larger fleet. He remained fiercely loyal to the Zabi family, especially Admiral Dozle Zabi. After Zeon's defeat and the Zabis' deaths, Delaz rejected the Antarctic Treaty and subsequent peace with the Earth Federation.

He retreated with his "Delaz Fleet" to the shoal space zone near Side 5's ruins (Loux Bodo), operating secretly for three years. During this time, he meticulously orchestrated Operation Stardust, a major offensive designed to reignite the Zeon movement and cripple the Federation. His plan centered on stealing the Federation's prototype RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis," equipped with a nuclear warhead, and detonating it amidst a Federation naval review at the Konpeitoh (formerly Laplace) space colony.

Delaz saw Operation Stardust as essential for restoring Zeon's honor and exposing Federation corruption. He viewed their reconstruction of Side 1's "Island Iffish" colony as hypocritical. His ultimate objective was dropping "Island Iffish" onto Earth, specifically targeting the Federation's Jaburo headquarters, proving Zeon's enduring resolve.

He recruited Anavel Gato, the "Nightmare of Solomon," as the pivotal pilot for the nuclear strike, fostering a strong, almost fatherly bond and placing immense trust in him. Delaz also formed an uneasy alliance with former Zeon officer Cima Garahau and her marine unit, leveraging their forces despite deep mutual distrust stemming from her wartime actions.

Delaz commanded the operation from his Gwazine-class flagship, the *Gwalewa*, maintaining a calm, determined, and strategic demeanor throughout. Following the successful nuclear detonation at Konpeitoh, he personally oversaw the capture and redirection of "Island Iffish" towards Earth. As Federation forces launched a desperate counter-attack to halt the colony drop, Delaz broadcast the declaration "To All Zeon Soldiers," invoking "Zeon's Glory" to rally remnants across space. He remained aboard the *Gwalewa* during the final battle near the descending colony.

The *Gwalewa* sustained critical damage in the intense combat. Aguille Delaz chose to go down with his ship, piloting the crippled flagship in a final, suicidal ramming attack against the Federation assault carrier *Albion*. This act destroyed both vessels and resulted in his death. Delaz perished witnessing the colony, though fragmented, continue its descent towards Earth, believing his operation had achieved its goal of reigniting the conflict.
