Description
Misaki, a stage actress performing in "Salome," sustained mortal injuries from falling stage equipment during rehearsal. Approximately four hours after the accident, the higher-ranked vampire Defrott transformed her into a vampire to fulfill her wish of performing the lead role for her fiancé, Yoshinobu Maeda. This transformation marks the first documented human-to-vampire conversion within the narrative.

Physically slender and beautiful, her appearance carries an elegant theatricality. Post-transformation severely impaired her cognition and personality, leaving her unable to communicate normally. She compulsively recited lines from "Salome," particularly those from her final scene, psychologically frozen at her turning moment. Fleeting human remnants surfaced when she reacted to Maeda’s smoking or handwriting.

Her engagement to Maeda was arranged via correspondence while he was stationed overseas; they never met in person. After escaping military confinement, she confronted him at the Imperial Theatre. During their sole encounter, she briefly broke her vampiric trance to express longing for him. Knowing a kiss would kill him, she instead stepped into sunlight at the site of her accident. This act disintegrated her, fulfilling "Salome’s" tragic conclusion while sparing Maeda.

She is Lieutenant General Sonosuke Nakajima’s daughter, heightening the military’s stake in her confinement. Her resemblance to Aoi Shirase occasionally caused mistaken identity. Her narrative concludes in the first episode without further development.
