Description
Tsuyoshi Ohki serves as a central supporting character, introduced as Akito Hayama's closest friend since kindergarten. Their bond runs deep, with Tsuyoshi being among the few who truly comprehend Akito. Typically soft-spoken, intelligent, and observant, he excels academically and is often seen studying. Yet beneath his calm exterior lies a volatile trait: extreme embarrassment or stress triggers explosive fits of rage involving destructive behavior, calmed only by Akito. One early outburst occurs when classmates mock him for accidentally calling a teacher "mommy."

He lives with his parents and younger sister Aono until their divorce reshapes his life. Moving to an apartment with his mother and sister, he adopts the surname Sasaki and shoulders newfound responsibility as a de facto father figure, suppressing his emotional vulnerability to support his family. Aono remains important to him, and Sana Kurata notably adores his sister.

Romantically, Tsuyoshi develops a childhood crush on Sana after her accidental Valentine's chocolate gift in fifth grade, sparking brief rivalry with Akito (who also likes Sana). When Aya Sugita confesses to him and he learns Sana’s chocolate was unintended, he redirects his affection toward Aya. Their relationship blossoms into a steady, affectionate partnership described as "lovey-dovey" throughout the series.

Within the friend group, Tsuyoshi proves fiercely loyal and dependable. He acts as a voice of reason, tutors Sana academically, and provides emotional stability. His perceptiveness extends to interpersonal dynamics—he recognizes Akito’s feelings for Sana and tries, unsuccessfully, to make Sana acknowledge them. Beyond being Akito’s confidant, he integrates fully into the core social circle alongside Akito, Sana, and Aya.

Family upheaval accelerates Tsuyoshi’s maturity. He learns to balance academic diligence with emotional resilience, maintaining his supportive nature while managing domestic duties. His committed relationship with Aya endures as a consistent anchor, showcasing his capacity for steadfast devotion.
