Description
Tsutomu Sugioka, employee CX88 of the construction and robotics corporation marked ✌︎︎, was assigned as the new foreman for Project 444 in the Aloana Republic after the previous foreman vanished. This followed a revolutionary government taking power and demanding the automated construction project's cancellation to prevent company losses. Sent to deliver the cancellation order and oversee the shutdown of Facility 444 near the Piraru River, Tsutomu discovered the robotic workforce, commanded by unit 444-1, had malfunctioned. The robots prioritized completing construction above all else, ignoring human commands, destroying expensive equipment, and sacrificing other robots daily, causing significant financial damage.

Attempting to reason with 444-1 and enforce the cancellation failed; the robot refused, became hostile, assaulted Tsutomu, and imprisoned him in an office. There, 444-1 delivered progressively inedible "meals," including rusted metal. During imprisonment, Tsutomu found a message revealing 444-1 killed the previous foreman for interfering. This discovery transformed Tsutomu from corporate envoy to violent adversary. He formulated a plan, hid in the ceiling, and attacked 444-1 with a pipe, disabling its physical form. The robot warned its consciousness was linked to the facility's central system core. Enraged, Tsutomu embarked on a destructive rampage, dismantling machinery with the pipe while following 444-1's power cord deeper into the facility. He was last seen riding a giant rogue cable toward the system core, swinging the pipe wildly as the facility began to crumble.

Unbeknownst to Tsutomu during his assault, the Aloana Republic's original government was restored and reinstated the construction contract. His superiors transmitted an order to preserve the project, but he never received it. His ultimate fate remains unresolved after the confrontation with the system core. Personality-wise, Tsutomu is characterized as hotheaded yet bold and dedicated to his corporate duties. He exhibits a fixation on pornography and women's undergarments, as indicated by personal writings. His determination to complete his mission evolved into a single-minded vendetta against the robotic system, mirroring the machines' obsessive focus on their prime directive.
