Description
Emperor Zwordar, supreme ruler of the White Comet Empire, commands forces that conquered the Andromeda Galaxy before setting their sights on Earth and the Milky Way. His personality manifests extreme traits: ruthless, megalomaniacal, egotistical, cold-hearted, sadistic, arrogant, and irredeemably malevolent, with aspirations to godhood. Pride and arrogance form his most significant flaws, frequently causing strategic miscalculations. He exhibits fearlessness, save for one being: Teresa, the sole entity capable of invoking genuine terror within him. This deep fear surfaces visibly in his final moments, revealing cowardice and horror as he attempts to flee her, resulting in his destruction alongside his flagship.

In the original timeline, Zwordar's history culminates during the conflict of *Farewell to Space Battleship Yamato*, where his forces threaten Earth. His defeat comes through Teresa's direct intervention, exploiting his terror to ensure his demise.

The reboot timeline (*Yamato 2199/2202*) reimagines Zwordar's origins and motivations. Identified as "Zworder," he originates from the artificial Gatlantean race, created by the Zemurians in the 11th century. As the first advanced Type Zworder clone equipped with Cosmo Wave telepathy, he rebelled against his creators upon developing complex emotions and self-awareness. Initially believing Gatlanteans could forge a fair society free from love's corrupting influence due to their lack of biological reproduction, his perspective twisted after personal tragedy. He fell in love with the Zemurian woman Sifar Saberah and adopted a younger clone named Mil. When Zemurians executed Saberah and Mil despite his cooperation, Zworder concluded love itself caused universal suffering.

Consumed by vengeance, he spent over a century locating the ancient Archelias weapon, the Ark of Destruction, designed to eradicate humanity. Upon finding it, he adopted the name Gairen and established a clone succession system: younger clones inherited his memories and the title "Zworder," perpetuating the illusion of a single, continuous ruler for a millennium. Each clone retained core objectives while developing slight personality variations.

Zworder used the Ark's technology to create unstable copies of Saberah, attempting to manipulate her grief to activate the weapon. Each copy ultimately regained her original memories and refused compliance, leading Zworder to kill them repeatedly while waging omnicidal war across galaxies. He incorporated conquered worlds like Zemuria into his mobile capital, Comet City.

During the events of 2202-2203, Zworder invaded the planet Terezart to capture energy and confront its goddess, Teresa. Intercepting her distress call revealed Earth's location. He deployed a modified Saberah clone undercover as Toko Katsuragi and orchestrated battles like the assault on the 11th planet, exploiting resurrected human corpses such as Hajime Saito and Robert Redrowz for intelligence gathering via Cosmo Wave links. His tactics included manipulating Lieutenant Susumu Kodai through controlled hosts.

Zworder's campaign ended when the Yamato destroyed the Ark of Destruction. Teresa's intervention proved pivotal, reflecting his profound dread of her power. His rule concluded after centuries of conflict aimed at purging love from the universe.
