Description
Geppetto, a solitary woodcarver inhabiting a small workshop, possesses white hair, a white beard, and a large red nose. He typically wears rounded black-rimmed glasses, a red or brown hat, a red or pink vest, and a yellow or white sweater. His background and family history remain unspecified.

Driven by profound loneliness and a deep desire for companionship, he carves a puppet from enchanted wood, naming it Pinocchio. This creation fulfills his wish for a child. Geppetto consistently exhibits kindness and attentiveness toward Pinocchio, recognizing when the puppet encounters difficulties.

His role centers on being Pinocchio's creator and primary caregiver. He provides guidance and expresses constant concern for Pinocchio's well-being throughout their shared experiences. After Pinocchio's disappearance, Geppetto constructs a boat to search for him at sea, an act leading to his temporary entrapment within a large sea creature. He is later reunited with Pinocchio inside the creature before their joint escape.

Geppetto maintains a patient and nurturing demeanor despite challenges stemming from Pinocchio's actions. His narrative arc concludes with his rescue and his continued role as caregiver.
